It is the simple classic flint ignition and liquid fuel system, with only two moving parts, that makes the guarantee viable.
The lighters are excellent for outdoors – but the fuel does have a slight aroma which (if you don’t like it) may adversely
affect the taste of your cigar or pipe.
Zippo has the solution:
Open the lid for a short while before lighting to release an trapped fumes;
Allow the flame to burn for a short while before lighting your pipe or cigar;
Blow through your pipe or cigar briefly before starting to smoke it.
PIPE LIGHTERS
Any regular Zippo lighter can be converted to a pipe lighter. The insert is specially adapted to give a contained flame which will light the tobacco in the bowl of your pipe, with minimum effect on the rim of the bowl. Ask us to exchange the insert for a pipe insert when you order, no extra charge.
GAS TURBO or SOFT FLAME ZIPPO LIGHTER INSERTS
Any regular Zippo lighter can be converted to a single or double butane gas jet torch lighter or soft flame lighter. Just buy the insert and replace the normal Zippo fuel insert.
