The spray (right) has 3 advantages.
You just give a burst into the shank / mouthpiece, let it sit for a moment and then run a bristle cleaner through (included) and give it a good scrub. As usual being careful not to twist and drill into the bottom of the bowl, or scrub too hard around a bend in the mouthpiece of a bent pipe.
You can use the one pipe cleaner several times
It is very economical .
