A beautifully rounded apple shape bowl, with thick meerschaum walls, but still very light.
It should smoke beautifully and colour evenly all around.
One biggish mark, fortunately on the lower half of the bowl, so it won’t be long before it is absorbed as
the colouring moves up from the base of the bowl.
Firm fitted case, but not exact. I get the impression that the pipes and cases were found separately and
the pipes allocated to the closest fitting cases.

5cm high is still very big, and the bowl is a little wider than the 01. The result is a slightly fuller impression which belies the lightness of the pipe.
The silver band has the advantage of strengthening the shank at the join with the mouthpiece and enhances the beauty of the pipe.
