Classic Billiard – the comparatively light sandblasting may be an indication of how much hardwood there is in this pipe. Just feel the sharpness of the inside edge of the rim and the super smoothness.
One side has distinctive straight grain with ring ridges at right angles to the grain, the other is definite birdseye.
The one or two deeper spots in the surface may be why this block didn’t make the root or even straight grain category.
